Everywhere at La Bigotie, old varieties of fruit trees show the authenticity of their history here. They form hedges between fields and flank the drive running to the house. And then enormous fig trees spread their branches in the courtyard.

The orchard forms the framework of the garden.
Planted during the winter of 2003, forty old local varieties of apple, plum, pear, cherry, etc. make up four sectors of the orchard. Fruiting stretches over several seasons and so visitors are able to find once again flavours that they may have forgotten...
